Watch speed art by Designer Desmond
When 3D and 2D come together!
Here i am working on a cover that has 2D and 3D elements!
Creating the face of my first 3D character. Elder African warrior who has survived famine.
Vectorizing a hand drawn artwork for a logo
Watch Designer Desmond Work at high speed. ( 1 screen capture per second played back at 30FPS ) 1 Min of work for every 2 seconds of video. I was tasked to turn a drawing givin to me on paper into a vector format that could be printed and used as a logo. I took a picture of the image on paper with my DSLR Nikon D3200 and proceeded to perspective crop the image in photoshop + some level adjustments. I went with Adobe Illustrator cs6 to actually create the graphic using the pen tool inking with live paint.
Album cover style graphic design
"How did you do that?" I get asked this question almost daily. I tell people that I make album covers. Most people don't really understand what I do in this process, and the few that do usually assume I'm just a photographer. While making this art work for Mackish Westbrook Jr. I Decided to screen record the experience to give individuals confidence to dream up something big and I can make it happen, And it won't cost a small fortune.
