Mac Sauce Pendant
CAD design I completed was for a jeweler named Shotty in Texas. He runs a shop called "Shotty Shine."
This marked my initial venture into jewelry design, and it required several months of dedicated effort to grasp the entire process and create this detailed CAD model. Having a background in previous modeling and rendering work gave me a head start, as crafting this without any prior experience would have been a significant challenge to complete in just 30 days. Given my current skills, I estimate that I could now finish a project like this in about 8 hours.
Fish skale vision pendant
I created a "FISH SCALE VISION" PENDANT for a musician in Texas based on a sketch provided by the jeweler I collaborated with. My task was to transform this sketch into a detailed CAD model that could be used by the jeweler for casting and incorporating diamonds. Utilizing my personal 3D resin printers, I had the advantage of testing the design's feasibility.
It was a unique experience that the musician discovered me on social media and even shared the final product with me. In the world of jewelry, it's uncommon for jewelers to reveal that they seek external CAD modelers' assistance; most jewelers usually only handle the physical casting themselves. This is why my portfolio often includes 3D renders of the finished jewelry, as the jewelers prefer to remain discreet about the process.
In the picture gallery below, you will find the initial sketch, the renders I created, and the image of the final product adorning the musician's neck.

CARROLLTON TEXAS GRAY pendant
I was commissioned to craft a pendant for the Rap Battle champion, Carrollton Gray, hailing from Texas. Known for his rap battle prowess, he stood out in the scene. The pendant's design was derived from his distinctive logo, which was supplied to me.
In collaboration with the jeweler, I produced two distinct renders to best showcase the pendant's attributes. The first render employed ambient occlusion, resulting in deeper shadows and a moodier aesthetic. The second render, free from this effect, captured the dazzling brilliance of the gold and highlighted its radiance.

eternity ring
I designed an Eternity or Infinity ring for a client, based on their idea sketch. While updating my website, I unfortunately couldn't locate the digital copy of the sketch. Interestingly, this time the client had provided a physical paper sketch, which was a departure from the usual digital submissions. The client was pleased with the design, and in this project, I worked directly on the design without involving a jeweler.
The client took the CAD model I created to a jeweler they trusted. However, the jeweler's custom CAD design pricing was unexpectedly high. That's when the client discovered me through social media. I was able to craft the design they wanted, and subsequently, they handed the CAD model to their trusted jeweler for casting and creation.

What is Jewelry Design?
Jewelry design is the creative process of conceptualizing, planning, and crafting wearable ornaments and accessories, such as rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Jewelry designers use their artistic and technical skills to envision and create pieces that reflect various styles, trends, and personal aesthetics.
The jewelry design process typically involves sketching or digitally rendering ideas, selecting materials such as metals, gemstones, and other embellishments, and then using specialized tools and techniques to shape and assemble the components into a finished piece. Jewelry designers consider factors like aesthetics, wearability, comfort, and durability when creating their designs.
Jewelry design can range from traditional to contemporary, and designers often draw inspiration from nature, culture, history, and personal experiences to create unique and meaningful pieces that adorn and enhance the beauty of those who wear them.
